He had always planned to be buried in Chiefland beside his parents, but his love for Shiloh changed his mind. He and his wife Nancy, are laid to rest with others of the King clan in Shiloh's Ancestral area.We miss him so.
Charles is remembered as a strong, wise, brave, and generous man. He loved his family, his country and his community and he served them all as often as and however he could. father on the railroad and after graduation, he joined the United States Air Force.

After they married, they had 2 sons while moving from Florida to Norway, to Germany and then back to Chiefland, where they settled down for good. He also served in Vietnam, during his service, before he retired as a Chief Master Sargent. After his service, Charley worked in real estate throughout Levy County until his retirement when he focused all his time on being Papa.
